BKFC Knucklemania goes down on Friday, February 5th from RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. You can order the latest Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event via FITE TV in the link provided.
At the top of the marquee, UFC veteran Paige Vanzant will make her bare-knuckle boxing debut. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant will toe the line against scrappy BKFC competitor/ more experienced boxer Britain Hart.
Hart has previously contended for the Police Gazette world women’s featherweight title, falling just short to Bec Rawlings via split decision at BKFC 2. Vanzant has taken on champions in the UFC and makes a much-ballyhooed entry into BKB competition.
A championship prizefight will take place in the BKFC Knucklemania co-feature. Johnny Bedford will defend his Police Gazette American and BKFC lightweight titles against decorated gloved boxer/ unbeaten BKFC competitor Dat Nguyen. The winner will also become the Police Gazette world champion at 135 pounds.
Chris Leben will have his BKFC swan song tonight when he goes to war one last time with Quentin Henry. The Ultimate Fighter season 1 veteran is looking to end off his vaunted career with one more classic throwdown. If Quentin Henry’s track records any indicator of what kind of fight we can expect here, I think Leben will get his wish for a memorable last hurrah.
