Jordan Maskell

Journalist/Podcaster/Storyteller
Jordan Maskell is a Canadian multimedia journalist and publisher with an Advanced Diploma in Print and Broadcast Journalism from Mohawk College. His life revolves around digital media, including his love of website development, podcasting, film, print and video editing.

Maskell is the owner of Maskell Multimedia and has recorded hundreds of podcasts since 2011, where he currently manages the “Maskell Podcasting Network.” His flagship show “The Maskell Sessions” is closing in on 350 episodes. His other show “Uncensored with Jordan Maskell” is available through Liberty Multimedia Inc. and focuses on interviews with guests.

In 2017, Maskell moved over 4,400 km from his home in Vanessa, Ontario and began working as a reporter for The Echo-Pioneer in High Level, Alberta, along with Marcone. In
2018, he followed in Marcone’s footsteps to pursue B2B contracts full-time, as these opportunities surpassed those available at the newspaper.

Maskell currently writes, hosts, edits, produces and promotes a large variety of professional multimedia content, while also providing consulting services for creative storytellers and organizations looking to break into digital mediums. He plays a key role in maintaining multiple online platforms from both a technical and publishing standpoint.

On May 20, 2019, Maskell evacuated High Level due to the threat of the Chuckegg Creek Wildfire. The magnitude and impact of this event promoted the creation of his first feature length documentary “Together We Stand: A Northern Alberta Wildfire Story.” He can be reached via at jordan_maskell@live.ca.
