Matthew Vincent Marcone is the Founder and President of Liberty Multimedia Inc., a creative digital publishing and consulting company based out of Canada.

He has a genuine passion for multimedia publishing with over seven years experience in the industry, and particularly loves collaborating with and cultivating an environment of like-minded owners/entrepreneurs.

Through Liberty Multimedia Inc., his team actively consults with multiple clients to develop world-class stories via digital platforms. To date these have included Northern Lakes College, Metis Settlements General Council, TransCanada, La Crete Sawmills, Fort Vermilion School Division, Government of Alberta, Saddle Hills County, Northern Sunrise County, Mackenzie Family Resource Network and Paddle Prairie/Elizabeth Metis Settlements among many others.

Marcone bootstrapped Liberty Multimedia with a $600 savings investment for the company’s first promotional video in 2016. Liberty Multimedia has yet to raise any money for operations, as it has grown organically over the past four years through consistent sales and reinvesting profits.

The company has since gone global, as he actively contracts an entire team of remote-based freelancers and entrepreneurs – some of whom he’s been collaborating with since inception – to produce the highest quality videos, books, multimedia learning resources, news stories, websites, podcasts, and customized digital media content for our clients.

Liberty Multimedia’s team has conducted thousands of professional interviews across many sectors including business, arts and athletics.

Marcone graduated with Honours in the Advanced Print and Broadcast Journalism Program at Mohawk College in 2012 and worked as a newspaper reporter/editor for over five years in Northern Alberta, before freelance opportunities via Liberty Multimedia Inc. outgrew this position.

The newspaper provided a traditional platform to build his multimedia publishing skills from the ground up, while learning how to build and connect with niche audiences through creative storytelling. More importantly, he was privileged enough to learn these skills while being employed at one of the few independently run newspaper chains remaining in the country. This experience has proven to be invaluable.

He is the author of three books published on Amazon, four comprehensive multimedia learning initiatives, content curator for several websites/Apps, host of over 50 live workshops/webinars, and is a highly experienced project manager.

There’s little he can’t do in the digital space! Marcone receives great satisfaction from helping people realize their vision through highly effective digital media stories. His immediate-term goal is to continue scaling up Liberty Multimedia Inc.’s content network and team of entrepreneurs, with whom we collaborate to provide meaningful content that enable positive social change.

His grand vision is to play a lead role in resolving reconciliation among Indigenous Peoples in Canada, who have been victimized by a racist political welfare/reserve system that traces back to 1867 under the Indian Act. This Indian Reserve system continues to be the source of horrific intergenerational trauma, broken families, extreme poverty and myriad of socio-economic problems.

He sees Liberty Multimedia as a seed of reliable content that creates transformations in business and in life, helping people develop identities as owners and value-adding members of society. It is this mission that fuels his efforts. He can be contacted at matthew.marcone@gmail.com.
