Eduard Folayang: Q) What’s your overall assessment of your opponent’s skillset?
A) A well-rounded fighter but usually keeps the fight on the feet.
Q) You’re fresh off losing your championship. Does this add any additional hunger to your preparations or is your approach the same as it is for every bout?
A) Yes, it adds additional hunger to perform my best in this upcoming bout.
Q) Should you get the desired outcome and win this fight, what are your thoughts on the fighter who is already in the finals bracket?
A) A good fighter with impressive finishes and a good test of my skills.
Q) Between Timofey Nastyukhin, Martin Nguyen and Shinya Aoki, who would you most like to rematch to avenge a loss?
A) Martin
Q) What are your feelings about getting a future rubber match with Shinya Aoki?
A) I will be waiting for it.
Yushin Okami: Q) What’s your overall assessment of your opponent’s skillset?
A) I think he is well-balanced. His strength is to stick with what he has decided to do. Meaning, he is very good at executing his game plan. I am not going to give him any space for him to execute his game plan and I am looking to control this fight using my physical strength.
Q) What are your goals within ONE Championship?
A) To become ONE champion and prove that I am the strongest in my career right now.
Q) Do you get additional motivation from facing an unbeaten opponent and being the one to put the first loss on their record?
A) It’s an honor to fight someone undefeated especially after a loss I took in the first fight with ONE.
Q) Is this the perfect opponent right now for you to get back on track and make a run towards title contention in ONE?
A) Yes. I think a win over him would put me back into title contention.
