Jake Lindsey defeats Pat Pytlik via submission – Unified MMA Super-Lightweight Title Bout
R1: Pat Pytlik catches Jake Lindsey with a jab coming in that wobbles him briefly. Lindsey looks for a guillotine choke that Pytlik defends. Lindsey controls the action against the cage, gets a takedown and Pytlik pops back to his feet. He’s taken down again, this time controlling from half guard. Lindsey lands a series of right hands before Pytlik is able to fight his way back up. More cage control from Lindsey ends in another takedown. Pytlik gets back up and the clinch fight continues, until a brief separation where Pytlik lands a front kick and Lindsey secures another takedown to end the round.

R2: Lindsey gets a takedown 30 seconds into the round and controls Pytlik against the cage. Lindsey nearly finishes with a rear naked coke but Pytlik is able to reverse and end up on top. Lindsey quickly gets back to his feet and goes back to work controlling the wrestling and clinch game. Lindsey locks in a guillotine choke that looks deep. He squeezes until Pytlik passes out and the fight is stopped. The crowd is stunned. Amazing performance by Lindsey and great heart shown by Pytlik in never giving up.

Teddy Ash defeats Dominique Steele – Unified MMA Middleweight Title Bout
R1: Teddy Ash connects with the opening left hand and stuffs a takedown. Dominique Steele has him pressed against the cage as the crowd chants “Teddy, Teddy!” he escapes and throws a right hand. Both men are throwing haymakers. Straight right wobbles Ash but he regains his composure quickly and lands a right hand, stuffing another takedown. With a minute remaining both continue swinging for the fences. Ash is pushed to the cage where Steele foot stomps him twice. Very fast paced round.

R2: Good right hand from Ash to start the round. Steele shoots hard for a takedown but Ash defends and is against back against the cage. Ash breaks and lands two more right hands. He connects again and stumbles Steele, nearly finishing the fight in a flurry on the mat! The crowd is going insane with the “Teddy” chants! Steele back to a controlling position on the cage but Ash lands a big elbow. Steele looks for a takedown and is defended well by Ash. Round ends in a flurry and standing ovation from the crowd

R3: They are ready to go. Ash opens with two left kicks and a right hand. Steele forces him back to the cage. Steele holds him in this position for the better part of two minutes. Both men trade elbows. They separate but quickly end up back in the same position. They’re separated and the crowd loves it. After another exchange Steele goes back to controlling the fight against the cage. Uneventful round but it goes to Steele for controlling where the fight took place.

R4: We have it all tied up heading into the championship rounds. Ash lands a front kick to the face and series of punches before Steele takes the fight back to the cage. A brief separation and they’re back in the same spot. Referee separates. Ash lands two more punches and is right back to the cage, where the round ends. Tough round to score. Ash landed the only significant strikes but Steele again controlled him on the cage for a solid four straight minutes.

In between rounds the crew works to repair the cage where Steele bull-rushed Ash. The doctor also checks Steel’s eye and rules him unfit to continue.

Shane Campbell vs Menad Abella – Three Round Non-Title Lightweight Bout
R1: Menad Abella weighed in at 156.4 lbs and thus the fight was changed from title to non-title bout. Abella opens with a right kick, right hand combination. Straight left by Abella also connects. He lands the better of the shots throughout the first three minutes of the fight. Campbell throws a knee in the clinch, which is caught and he winds up on his back. He nearly catches him in an armbar but Abella fights his way out of it.

R2: Leg kick from Campbell lands to open the round. He attempts a spinning kick that nearly misses. A slip by Abella is capitalized on by Campbell who takes his back in lightning speed. Bad spot for Abella. Campbell works to sink in an arm triangle from half guard but Abella is defending well. He takes his back against and lands a few elbows before Abella is able to get back to his feet. Campbell lands a few strikes and the bell sounds. Dominant round for the champion.

R3: Abella initiates a clinch and pushes Campbell to the fence. Campbell defends the takedown well and they separate. Right hand by Campbell, followed by a left counter from Abella. Campbell landing midway through the round. Final minute. Campbell throwing combinations and lands a high kick followed by a right hand. Round ends with Abella working for a takedown.

KB Bhullar vs Derek Boyle – Professional Middleweight Bout
R1: The crowd chants “KB!” to start the round, who gets a big reception. Derek Boyle lands a low kick and is immediately grappled by KB Bhullar, who forces the action to the cage. Bhullar with a left hand that lands and initiates some trash talk from Boyle.
“That’s al you got?”
Bhullar again works until he presses Boyle against the cage. A body lock by Boyle looks like he has the advantage, however Bhullar smoothly uses his hips to throw him and wind up on top. Bhullar sinks in a beautiful darce choke and submits him prior to the end of the round.

Graham Park vs Tyler Weran – Professional Light-Heavyweight Bout
R1: Graham Park opens with a leg kick and front kick to the body. Tyler Weran lands a left jab before being taken down by Park. Park controlling in half guard with Weran vulnerable and pressed against the cage. Park lands two or three heavy shots from this position. Park continues to control from top position and lands two big right hands that end the fight.

Joel Odorski vs Josh Mackenzie – Professional Bout at 175 lbs.
R1: Respect given by both fighters as neither is overly aggressive to start the round. A low kick from Josh Mackenzie is the first significant strike. They trade low kicks and both connect. They grapple against the cage and Mackenzie looks for a guillotine but is unsuccessful. They separate. Joel Odorski is cut at the top of his head but it doesn’t seem to impede his vision. Mackenzie is eye poked inadvertently and the round is paused. Doctor gives the go-ahead to continue.

R2: Mackenzie opens with the right low kick that he’d been landing in the first round. Counter right in the scramble by Mackenzie connects and leads to a slam. He works from full guard with Odorski pressed against the cage. Odorski works his way back to his feet and gets a takedown. He passes to side control and starts landing some heavy punches. Vicious strikes continue until the referee is forced to intervene.

“I Just didn’t want to overcommit or slip,” said Odorski on his slow start in his post-fight interview. “He was winning so coach said to pressure in the second round and I did. I’ve got old man strength.”
Liberty Multimedia’s Dylan Bowker had also caught up with Odorski after his pro MMA debut win at Rumble in the Cage 59. With this win, Odorski improves to 2-0 in his professional MMA career.
Amateur Fight #1 – Cole Smith vs Dalton Middleton: Featherweight
R1: Dalton Middleton almost immediately drops Smith with a big right hand! Smith recovers although takes a Rampage Jackson style slam before attempting a leglock, which Middleton defends. The fight returns to the feet. Middleton continues getting the better of the striking finding a home with his right hand.

R2: Smith lands a combination to start the round. Middleton connects again with a big right hand. Smith attempts and misses a spinning back kick followed by a spinning back fist. Smith counters a leg kick with a one-two combination that connects. Middleton catches a kick, takes Smith down and immediately lets him up. Smith lands two punches. Much more even round, could be called either way.

R3: Smith lands two front kicks to the body to open the round, followed by a right body kick. Middleton counters with a hook. A left hook from Middleton lands midway through the round and is controlling the striking. He catches a body kick and counters with a straight right hand.

Amateur Fight #2 – Peter Janssen vs Harley King: Bantamweight
R1: Janssen initiates the takedown and gets caught in a guillotine, which looks tight but he escapes. Janssen in top position and King works an armbar again thwarted by Janssen. They grapple and Janssen takes his back looking to secure a rear naked choke. Before the end of the round King is able to reverse and end in top position.

R2: King lands a left hook. His kick is blocked by Janssen who secures a takedown. King works back to his feet though Janssen keeps the pressure on against the cage. He gets another takedown and settles in full guard. King is able to sink in an anaconda choke and reverse the position. Another takedown by Janssen is followed by two right hands, where the round ends.

R3: Janssen connects with a right-left combination and secures another takedown, later landing a series of right hands against the cage. King maintains his composure and gets back to his feet, although Janssen is still working for the takedown. He gets it again and works from full guard. King attempts a kimura which is shrugged off by Janssen. Janssen holds the position for the remainder of the round.

Amateur Fight #3 – Sambath Khun vs Skylar Sloan: Bantamweight
R1: Slow start to the round as both fighters gauge the other’s timing and distance. Sambath Khun connects with a counter left hook. Skylar Sloan is the aggressor and secures a takedown midway through the round. Khun is able to get back to his feet. Sloan lands a body strike and sweep’s Khun’s leg to bring him back to the mat.

R2: Sloan moves forward with a combination but Khun counters with a straight left hand. Nice body kick from Sloan. Sloan connects with a right hook followed by another kick and takedown. He works to side control and later takes his back. Khun rolls over but is still mounted, where the round ends.

R3: Sloan with another takedown to open the round. Big punches and hammer fists from Sloan with Khun trapped against the cage. He takes his back for the second consecutive round and lands a flurry of punches.

Amateur Fight #4 – Matt Klute vs Aaron Antcil: Featherweight
R1: Klute lands a leg body kick. Antcil follows up with a leg kick combination. Klute secures a takedown near the cage and begins working to pass Antcil’s guard. He gains half guard but is rolled over by Antcil, who attempts a guillotine choke. Klute escapes and again takes top position, where the round ends. Very close round.

R2: Antcil comes out firing. A clinch near the cage results in Klute again securing a takedown, working from top position. Antcil defends and works his way up. Superman punch by Antcil connects! He presses Klute against the cage but Klute is able to reverse, secure a takedown and take his back. He holds the position looking to lock in a rear naked choke with 45 seconds remaining in the round.

R3: Antcil controls the striking to open the round. Klute drops Antcil with a right hand! In the scramble Antcil is able to reverse and wind up in half guard, controlling the neck and position. The fight ends on the mat. Close round.
